Prolusion re-launch
Prolusion re-launch
Hi everyone
In anticipating the pair of new projects being developed by Left Orbit Temple, we have decided to do a major re-launch of Prolusion.
The word Prolusion means (according to Webster's New World Dictionary - 1913 edition):
"A trial before the principal performance; a prelude; an introductory essay or exercise."
We titled the first Left Orbit Temple release Prolusion because it was a bit of en experiment.
We wanted to test the waters and see if there would be a response to the project before we continued.
We didn't know if people would be interested in looking at the art galleries, or if a hybrid project featuring music and art - an arts magazine on a disc, if you will - is something that music fans would be interested in experiencing.
So far the response has been great.
We are pleased that music neither rockin' nor danceable - and that is admittedly a bit creepy (deliciously so, we hope!) - has been greeted with so much enthusiasm.
The Left Orbit Temple project WILL continue... but between 'real life' rearing it's ugly head, and a haitus so that James could write a few books, there have been some delays.
So here were are half way through 2006, and in anticipation of the two new projects that have been lining themselves up over the past few years, it's time to reaquaint people with Left Orbit Temple, or introduce to the project all of the people who may have missed the inital release of Prolusion.
Our major re-launch of the project is currently underway - these are exciting times!
We hope you enjoy all aspects of Left Orbit Temple, and we look forward to meeting new collaborators.
